In the emerging scenario, the catchwords are “Quality and Competitiveness”, and COA is making a constant endeavour to improve the quality of architectural education in India. It has thus become imperative to promote innovations, creativity, optimal designs and experimentations, content updating in emerging architectural and technical areas, and product / process development to cope with the challenges. To meet these challenges, teachers need to get themselves oriented and updated to acquire requisite knowledge, skills and attitude. This Induction Training Program will provide junior teachers the required competencies and skills to appropriately impart architectural education in their respective institution.
Contents will include discussion of objectives of architectural education, development of basic competencies of B.Arch students, various aspects of architectural teaching pedagogy, subject delivery and methodology of teaching, assessment, etc.
