Research Field: Modern Architecture in India

by Anand Bhatt last modified 2007-05-11 00:22

This is a research project, more in the way of a thought experiment to investigate our abilities to comprehend the career of a South Asian architect by native categories.

In the first, we want to take the careers of Larie Baker and Anant Raje as a case examples, and we want to see if we posess enough terminological knowledge to describe his work while not succombing to conventional (and extrinsic) descriptors. Architexturez Subject Gateway (hyperlink provided) has the infrastructures for doing some basic inferening on the data provided in this regards.

In the second, we want to generate a real world use case for Architexturez Subject Gateway, and see if Indian architecture research can create demands for expanding it.
