What architectural history has done so well is to ignore any influence
that they system of infrastructure may have had on building and in that,
on any social, economic, or political that can be perceived in building.
So, in the schizophrenic nature of history, there exist two natures, and
two ideas of house...but this is not the case, they are the same house..

but architecture, as it is taught, does not include scientific nature
in its realm of objective reality. So the idea of infrastructure never
enters into the "idea" of house, structure, finish, but instead it exists
as a nothing. Thus public/private cannot be "seen" in their objective
sense, even though they exist pervasively before everyones eyes, they are
invisible proof that architecture has not realized the objectivity of the
scientific nature, and its comprehensive control over our human sense.
