Spatial and economic development is dependent on demolition, which requires a rethinking of normalized relationships within communities formed, as A.E.S.D. contends, by former demolitions. However demolition is a neglected dimension within architecture both in theory and in practice. A.E.S.D. is committed to research and study of demolition in all its manifestations and implications.
